How is a compact bus duct connected to a distribution box
The plug-in box of the compact bus duct is directly connected to the bus duct through plug-in components and has corresponding interlocks. The plug-in box cannot be pulled out without opening the switch. Generally, on a 2-meter straight bus duct, three plug-in boxes can be connected. Since the current in the plug-in boxes is relatively small, cables are usually used for external output.
For butt-type bus ducts, the end parts of the two busbar conductors to be connected should be aligned parallel to each other. Then, insert the copper connecting plates and insulating partitions into the interphase gaps at the busbar ends (place a copper connecting plate on each side of each phase busbar, and place an insulating partition between the copper connecting plates)." After confirming that there are no defects, insert the insulating bolts and pay attention to whether the connection holes of the copper connecting plates, busbar ends, and insulating partitions are aligned, and whether the copper connecting plates and insulating partitions are clamped in place. Then tighten the bolts.
First, check whether the conductor connection surface at one end of the bus duct and the joint are damaged by any bumps. After confirming that there are no problems, initially connect the two sections of the bus duct to the busbar of the joint. The conductor of the bus duct should be inserted into the joint. After ensuring it is in place, use a torque wrench to lock it.
