Performance indicators and requirements of compact bus ducts
Performance indicators and requirements for compact bus ducts:
The use of bus ducts is becoming increasingly widespread, but the products on the market are getting more and more uneven in quality. To ensure you can purchase genuine and high-quality products, please carefully select the products according to the following performance indicators and material requirements of bus ducts
1) Material requirements for bus duct enclosures:
To ensure the strength and rigidity of the bus duct, the enclosure of the bus duct system is preferably made of cold-rolled galvanized steel plate.
2) Anti-corrosion performance of bus duct enclosure:
The surface of the busbar housing should be treated with electrostatic powder coating to achieve a good anti-corrosion effect.
The corresponding third-party test report needs to be provided;
3) Bus duct conductor material:
The conductor should be made of high-purity cathode copper, and the purity of the copper bar should be above 99.95%.
The entire surface of the copper bar is tin-plated. The practice of tinning only at the joint is not accepted.
When bidding, a copper conductor purity test report consistent with the model of the equipment being bid for should be provided.
4) Integrity of bus duct conductors
To ensure the current-carrying capacity and structural strength of the bus duct, the entire length of the straight section conductor of the bus duct should remain intact, and there should be no poor designs such as middle punching or end section shrinkage.
5) Bus duct insulation material:
The insulating materials should be products manufactured by well-known domestic and foreign manufacturers.
It is advisable to wrap the entire piece with polyester film of grade B or above insulation (130℃).
A third-party test report of the insulating material should be provided.
6) Busbar withstand voltage inside the bus duct:
All busbar components, such as straight bars, elbows, flanges, etc., must pass high-voltage tests before leaving the factory.
7) Design of bus duct connection heads
The connecting head bolts should be equipped with an automatic torque control function, with a rated crimping torque greater than 80 N.m to ensure good contact at the joint.
After the crimping torque reaches the specified value, there should be a clear indication for easy inspection.
8) Bus duct plug-in interface design:
The conductor body of the busbar at the plug-in interface position should be directly electrically connected to the plug-in claws of the plug-in box to ensure the reliability and safety performance of the contact. Connection should not be made through additional terminals or protrusions on the busbar conductor.
9) Interlock protection of bus duct plug-in box
All busbar plug-in boxes shall be equipped with internal safety interlocks:
When powered on, prevent the plug-in box door from being opened.
When the plug-in box is not reliably fixed on the busbar, the plug-in box cannot be closed.
10) Internal design of bus duct plug-in box:
A circuit breaker with good performance should be used in the plug-in box.
The electrical pre-connection between the incoming terminal of the circuit breaker and the plug-in claw should use copper strips and not cables.
11) Bus duct plug-in box anti-electric shock protection
The internal live parts must be equipped with transparent protective partitions to avoid the risk of electric shock to people.
12) Bus duct plug-in box operation:
The plug-in box should be easy to install and disassemble.
13) Requirements for the busbar grounding system in the bus duct:
The ground wire should adopt a reliable integral grounding method, with the entire ground wire wrapped around the live part of the copper bar.
The ground wire should preferably be made of aluminum or copper of electrical grade, and avoid using materials such as steel plates or aluminum alloys that are not specifically used for conducting electricity.
14) Bus duct Shape:
It should be compact to reduce installation space;
15) Each bidder is required to provide samples of bus ducts and plug-in boxes.
