1.The bus duct manufacturer introduces that the connection point of the bus duct should not be where the bus duct passes through the floor. When the bus duct device passes through the ground hole, no sewage or debris must enter the bus. The plug-in power supply holes (fork interfaces) of bus ducts should be set at safe and reliable positions that are convenient for equipment maintenance.

2.When the bus duct is installed vertically, first install the tension spring support on the bus duct, then fix the bus duct and the tension spring support on the channel steel fixed frame. The tension spring nuts of the support should be locked. After installing 4 to 5 layers, loosen the nuts layer by layer from top to bottom to allow the bus duct components to naturally rest against the tension springs of the brackets. After the bus duct is securely connected, its bending degree shall not exceed 1 degree. The margin between two bus ducts of vertically adjacent devices should not be less than 0.1M.

3.When the straight-line laying length of bus ducts exceeds 60 meters, expansion (elastic) joints should be set up.

4. Plug-in box devices. Before installing the bus duct plug-in box, open the safety baffle at the plug-in hole of the bus duct. First, push the switch inside the box to the off position, insert the plug-in box pins into the bus duct from the sockets of the bus duct in phase sequence, and make sure they are inserted in place. After prohibiting the plugging and unplugging of the plug-in box device while it is powered on, fix the front and rear claw-type clamping plates on both sides of the bus duct and tighten the screws. When the large switch plug-in box is installed vertically, a load-bearing support arm should be set at the bottom. When installing horizontal devices, load-bearing hoops should be installed.

5. Bus duct transition connection. The starting end of the bus duct should be connected to the terminal of the distribution cabinet, and tin-plated hard copper busbars should be selected for transition connections. When the starting end of the bus duct is connected to equipment such as transformers and generator sets, copper braided flexible connections should be selected. When copper busbars are connected to aluminum conductors, copper-aluminum transition bars or copper-aluminum transition components should be selected.

6. The operators for safe power transmission of bus ducts must be qualified professional electrical installers. Non-professionals need to leave the observation area. During the power transmission process, the bus duct system cannot bear any power load, and all branch devices are disconnected. Maintenance of bus ducts? When bus ducts are in long-term operation, they should be inspected and maintained regularly at least once a year. The total load current must not exceed the planned current and the rated current of the main bus duct.
